This evening THE KNOT will be honoured to welcome on its non-thresholds the legend of the Polish artistic scene, Jan Świdziński, performer and thinker who for several decades has been practising and theorising art in its social context.

Jan Świdziński is known as the founder of the concept of contextual art, which inspired an entire generation of artists in Poland and abroad. THE KNOT seems an ideal place to talk once again about how art resonates in the multitude of our social worlds, how it permeates them, changes them and vests them with a different context.
