The presentation "Postcommunist Transition and Latin American Thought: Common Reasons Beyond Hegemonies" will create a forum for the discussion of the possibilities of articulating local resistance in postcommunist Eastern Europe in direct relation to experiences and theories of resistance coming from Latin America.

The decolonial epistemic turn has emerged in the last decade as one of the most important movements of critical theory, and our challenge is to provoke you to imagine what does it mean to ask the decolonial question in postcommunist Eastern Europe. Following two contextual 20-30' minutes presentations by Walter Mignolo and Ovidiu Tichindeleanu, we invite you to an open discussion.
