Biography

Nick Crowe and Ian Rawlinson have been working collaboratively since 1994 with recent exhibitions at Leeds City Art Gallery; Tanya Leighton Gallery, Berlin; The Invisible Dog, Brooklyn; Apsex Gallery Portsmouth and Triple Base Gallery, San Francisco. They are based in Manchester and Berlin and make work that unpicks poetic tensions within a given situation. Project: The Ursynów Memorial Ski Lift

The Ursynów Memorial Ski Lift will take the form of a climbing rope, about 200 metres long. One end will be attached to the summit of the hill with the other end attached to a stake at the base of the hill’s steepest slope.
