Project: Ticket Gate Jumping

"Ticket Gate Jumping" is a sport game in which participants have to jump through an artificial ticket barrier and run a path around THE KNOT mobile unit.

On the Tempelhof airfield Tomek Sacilowski and Igor Krenz constructed an inventive training tool: a replica of a metro automatic gate which blocks the passage for passengers having invalid tickets or magnetic cards. This training tool - along with a running path around the mobile unit - will be used by the artists to train visitors of THE KNOT in jumping a real ticket barriers in public space.

The first stage of the project are training sessions (27 and 28 May 2010) with professional coach. The second part will be a final cup in ticket gate jumping (29 May 2010). The competition is open for everybody who would like to test their skills as city activists, parkour runners and urban acrobats.
