Lopez Mausere

A mutual impact of the symbolism of Polish and German cities' coats of arms

Biography

Lopez Mausere is a poet, writer, dramatist, theatre director, performer, journalist and curator. He was involved in the activities of Totart Formation and its television emanation Dzyndzylyndzy and AlternaTiVi. Co-founder of the projects Grandma Zosia, Auntie Leosia and Granddaddy Stanislaw. He was one of the founders of infamous Klub der Polnishen Vesager  in Berlin.

Project: A mutual impact of the symbolism of Polish and German cities' coats of arms

Lopez Mausere will analyze symbolic economy and cultural history of urban development in Poland and Germany, by discussing the mutual impact that it had on the coats of arms of respective cities on both sides  of river Laba. The lecture will reveal forgotten nuances of Slavic and Teutonic codes of laws, in the comparative perspective. Taking in account recent developments of postcolonial theory, the presentation will guide us through forgotten aspects of relations between orient, occident and sexual habits of the indigenous, Slavic population. Lecture will additionally draw future perspectives on above mentioned topics. It will be interrupted by poetic eruptions.
