Biography
Péter Szabó (born 1978) is a conceptual artist who for many years has also been active as musician (Jackie Triste). Co-founder of noise bands: Alergische Platze, Ovekk_Finn, and of Protokoll Studio space in Cluj. At present he is working on public art events (Good Morning!) community building and educational projects (The Travelling Drawing School), and post-conceptual objects and drawing series. He is interested in normal living, the disappearing phenomenon of the present times.
Beja Margitházi (born 1974) is a film theoretician, teaching at Film Studies Department of Eötvös Loránd University. She is a co-founder and editor of Filmtett (2001) monthly film magazine (now online as www.filmtett.ro). She is interested in questions of film style, visual communication and silent film. Her book The Cinema of the Face. Close-up and Film Style (Koinónia, Cluj, 2008) deals with historical and theoretical problems of the face close-up in film.
